As I was working online, I decided to check my e-mail and was excited to see I made a sale on a new software product that I recently wrote a review for.
I promote several software products from a company called Plimus: www.Plimus.com
They have lots of digital products which is something I sell a lot of. A couple weeks ago, I was searching for a new product to promote and ran across one called Aobo Mac OS X Keylogger.
It has a decent sales page and options to upgrade to higher priced versions which would ultimately result in a higher sale, so I said “Sure, let’s write a basic review and see what happens!”
So I spent about 30 minutes writing some text of my own and copying a little here and there from the companies site and slapped it on one of my review sites.
I have not promoted this software in any way, but the review page has ranked for certain keywords that has very little competition. Today, I got my first sale as shown in the email below..
So, I took 30 minutes to write a review and today I made $43.98. But now since the site is well ranked in Google for several keywords, this will hopefully earn me several sales a week.
What was more exciting was I had received another email for commission from a backlink building service I promote. This is a monthly recurring fee I earn as long as the individual remains a monthly member with the service.
So now I’m thinking.. okay within just a little over 1 hour, I earned $78.98. This is more than someone working an 8 hour shift at minimum wage earns and I done it while surfing the web..
I thought I would also check my Commission Junction account and see what sales I made yesterday (since sales data is delayed several hours). I promote several products through CJ.com including both physical and digital products. Here’s what happened yesterday..
In this image, I hid the sales products.. (sorry). I made over $2,000 in sales from 3 products and earned $219.54 in commissions! Not too shabby for a guy who lives in the woods..lol.
Anyways, I hope this helps to encourage you that you can earn this income too! It’s a matter of spending some time to learn a little and applying basic strategies.
